photos: style.comshoes like those cannot possibly exist. shoes like those only exist in fairytales.. or designer dreams. this pair looks dapper enough to fly me to heaven and back. i can imagine how heavenly these would look on my feet. ohhh if only.

i used to do a LOT of these back in highschool. i love making collages as much as i love...myself. i made about four of these out of sheer boredom.

it is every the goal of any group of college friends to go out of town. doesn't matter if it's a week long beach trip of a day tour an hour from the city, as long as they would get away, that is, outside of the manila area, without a parent tagging along as a chaperone. and during specific times of the year like sem break, christmas break, and what's left of their summer vacay, students like us plan, scheme, or even day dream of these trips in hope of someday realizing them. this is why when we were faced with the opportunity to go on a trip far from school, me and my friends grabbed it with our lives. i practically sneaked out of the house at 7 am in the morning to come along with them. a stupid move i know, but i don't regret my decision, and probably never will. my mom and i are now in speaking terms anyway, and that's better than what i've expected. so as it turned out it's all pretty good.

college girls
golly gee my friends and i definitely get an A for relentless picture taking. i should remind myself to never split two pizzas among my group mates and their massive appetite. it just won't suffice. we are hungry animals.

new fave thing to do! karaoke night with my friends. i used to despise karaoke, i'd get all self-conscious since i always want my voice to sound right, like every song was a play audition that had to be perfect or something. but then i realized that the whole point of karaoke was that you could totally suck at singing and get away with it. oh so fun! and i totally love our friend marese's house. everything was so easy and humble and chill, you just know that you don't have to put up a front or act all stuck-up like when you hang out with other kinds of people. none of that shit! we just ate and laughed at her garage. so much fun.
i swear, the many things my friends thought of to make fun of what i wore that day were ridiculous. i was starting to think that i did look ridiculous in my farmer-looking jeans (which i absolutely loved.) nonetheless, thank you friends, cause oddly enough, the stuff you kept saying made me feel weirdly very happy! i mean c'mon, it's always fun when your friends make fun of you.
we like to chill.

i disdain school. i disdain studying. but as much as i detest it, here i am with my books in tow. wasting away at the back of the library studying with my friends has been the current pastime (with it being finals week and all), and it is not fun at all. i've given birth to mothers and spent hours witnessing an episiotomy done, but i wish not to explain further on that cause i don't wanna gross you out or anything. but it clearly made everything else on earth increasingly boring.

i love college
the only time in your life where all you have to worry about is what to wear to the next time you go out and what witty bitchy comments to give to your friends and how to get completely wasted at a party a come home looking completely sober. such fun. the most fun you can have in your post-adolescent life.

because tropical storm ondoy has caused so much destruction. so many lives were lost, families left homeless, property destroyed, it's all too sad. what really frustrates me are those people, especially fellow filipinos, who are arrogant enough not to care, or show concern.
thanks a lot ondoy, cause you fucked up our house bigtime. and cause you've made me realize how fortunate i am to be alive, that my family's still alive, and that none of my clothes (or shoes) were harmed by your treacherous floodwater.
i decide to join my friends help out pack relief goods at the malacanang. it was totally unexpected, but we ended up going on location to distribute the goods at one of the areas greatly affected by the typhoon. take note: we rode an army truck. i thought that was pretty cool.

went home with a horrible headache. but it was totally worth it.
